You might remember him as Jethro Bodine, Jed Clampett’s silly nephew. Max Baer Jr. is actually the only member of The Beverly Hillbillies who is still alive! Max Baer Jr. remained within the film industry until the early ‘90s when he decided that it was time for him to make a substantial investment in real estate.
He ventured into the gambling industry by establishing Hillbillies-themed slot machines in various casinos before buying the land he needed in order to build his own along with a hotel. However, his plans have been on the ice, since December 2017, due to building code conflicts and technical issues.
