You probably don’t remember Jane Withers, as you weren’t even born at the time when she was a successful child star! During the ’30s and the early ’40s, few children were considered to be as talented as Withers was, and that was why she was so successful.
Apart from her magnificent acting skills, Withers had a beautiful voice, which helped her portray Josephine the Plumber for Comet Cleanser commercials during the ’60s, a role which solved her insurance expenses’ issues for good. She also voice-acted in Disney’s classic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
