CONRAD JANIS – 90
Though Conrad Janis is most known as a fruitful actor, he also had a bright music career as a trombonist playing traditional jazz music. But he has also appeared in several films and TV shows, with his most acclaimed role being the one of Mindy McConnell’s father in Mork & Mindy, a sitcom which aired in 1978.
He played in two jazz bands, and one of them was the Beverly Hills Unlisted Jazz Band, which became pretty successful during the ’70s and early ’80s. Despite being 90, he never required any serious medical treatment.
