BILLY DEE WILLIAMS – 81
Billy Dee Williams’ portfolio is every artist’s envy because he has a long career as an entertainer. The singer, actor, and writer most famously portrayed the Star Wars character Lando Calrissian. The 1959 movie Last Angry Man gave his career a start. And in 2018, it was confirmed that he’ll reprise the Lando Calrissian role in 2019’s Star Wars: Episode IX.
Williams recorded a jazz LP with Prestige Records in 1961 and its commercial success accorded him the eligibility to appear in the 1983 Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever special. Williams is also a painter and has been credited on creating the programs for the Thelonious Monk Competition.
