LESLIE CARON – 87
Upon hanging her film acting cloak in 2003, Leslie Caron had appeared in approximately 45 films. The dancer and actress’ rise to stardom came from appearances in musicals including DaddyLong Legs, An American in Paris, and Lili. She was also featured in movies like The L-Shaped Room and Fanny. Away from showbiz, Caron owned a restaurant and hotel aptly located just under a hundred miles from Paris.
She won an Emmy in 2006 for her guest role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. While she currently doesn’t act in films, Caron appeared in the TV series, The Durrells, as Countess Mavrodaki.
